Third Years

ResidentDr. Swapna Manthena
Swapna Manthena, MD, graduated from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, India. Manthena recently completed a clinical rotation at at the Georgetown Health Care Center in Georgetown, Ky.
ResidentDr. Amandeep Uppal
Amandeep Uppal, MD, graduated from American University of Antigua. She has a bachelor degree in biology from San Francisco State University. She has a commitment  to the underserved and has a special interest in preventive health care.

ResidentDr. John Morris
John Morris, MD, of Dayton, graduated from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands-Antilles. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Dayton and worked for NCR for several years. He completed three months of Adult Medicine in the CMH FMRP. Dr. Morris is a veteran, having served in the US Marine Corp. He achieved rank of captain and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding performance.

 

Second Years

ResidentDr. Muhammad Ahmad
 Dr. Muhammad Ahmad graduated from Saba University School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He has been involved in medical mission work in Honduras and Vietnam.
ResidentDr. Leo Lasala
Leo Lasala, MD, of Houston, Texas, graduated from Far Eastern University School of Medicine in the Philippines. Prior to attending medical school Dr. Lasala was a medical technologist, holding a bachelors degree in that field. During medical school, he was active in the International Student Organization and was president of the Student Council. He has volunteered in multiple clinics in the United States and the Philippines.
ResidentDr. Milan Petrovic
Dr. Milan Petrovic is a graduate of the University of Belgrade Medical School. Since December 2007, he has been working as a research scientist in the department of family and community medicine at the University of Cincinnati. While at UC, Dr. Petrovic supported a major Type 2 Diabetes Genomics study.
ResidentDr. Leelmohan Ravikumar
Dr. Leelmohan Ravikumar graduated from Ross University School of Medicine after completing a degree in biology from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va. He has volunteered at New York Hospital of Queens Medical Center and with the Red Cross.
ResidentDr. Bita Haji Zadeh
Dr. Bita Haji Zadeh graduated with honors from Univerzita Komenskeho in Slovakia. She completed a preliminary year of general surgery at St. Vincent Medical Center in New York City.
 

First Years

ResidentDr. Sherry Adkins
Sherry graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She completed the Boonshoft Physician Leadership Development Program (MD/MPH track), earning a Masters in Public Health degree along with her M.D. During medical school she earned the Boonshoft Leadership Scholarship, Dr. John C. Gillen Scholarship, and the Harry G. Thomas Medical School scholarship. She completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience/biology at Oberlin College. She enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Matt reside in Kettering, Ohio.
ResidentDr. Saurabh Basundhra
Saurabh graduated from the Medical University of the Americas after completing a degree in Neurology/Psychology from the University of Toronto. His interests include soccer, archery, fishing, jogging, and building computers. He also enjoys photography and spending time with his wife (who is also a physician) and with his family and friends. Saurabh’s hometown is Markham, Ontario, Canada.
ResidentDr. Rodel Cacas
Rodel is a graduate of Saba University School of Medicine. During medical school he served as class president for his first 3 semesters. Rodel also earned a Masters in Business Administration degree from Davenport University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. His undergraduate degree was in chemistry from the University of Tennessee. Rodel enjoys bodybuilding, riding his bicycle on long treks with his wife and son, and playing guitar. Rodel’s hometown is Jackson, Tennessee. His wife’s family lives in Hamilton, Ohio.
ResidentDr. Jordan Williams
Jordan is a graduate of St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. During medical school he participated in student government and honor society. He did his undergraduate studies in biology at The University of Texas. In his free time he loves coaching and officiating baseball, and is very passionate about music. Jordan is originally from Longview, Texas.
